As a predominantly visual person, I am fascinated by the world of colors. To paint means for me to dive into this world and to go completely into it. After many years of working with charcoal and ink, I discovered the use of paint and brushes relatively late. A few years ago, I developed the need to express my inner pictures with acrylic paint on wood - my favorite painting background. Since then, I have experimented with different styles and techniques.
As different as my paintings are in part - they all have one thing in common: the woman as an adorable, divine, sensual creature. For me, there is nothing more fulfilling than creating new female beings in different forms of beauty.
This mural I finished in March 2018. It measures 3 by 3 meters and shows the client's three children. He preferred a mix of Surrealism and typical elements of Art Nouveau, as Gustav Klimt used them in his paintings.
